Everyone's Favorite Teacher

Hilary is a creative, and passionate first grade teacher. She loves her students and pours so much into their learning. She came to me saying she needed a headshot to introduce herself to her students and parents of the new school year. She expressed her desire for them to be warm and inviting and would capture her fully. 

I wanted the photos to exude not only her beauty but also her wisdom and insight, her kindness and compassion. I knew she needed a background that had color and pattern that a would capture the eyes of a child. I found this fun wall that appeared to be painted in a childlike way that made me smile. I knew it was the right wall for her and would add some playfulness to the photos. 

When she received them he was obsessed with the background and felt it fit her use of the photos so well. She told me “I love them! I look great and they feel so fun and inviting! The background is perfect for a teacher! Exactly what I needed.”
